Supply Chain Redesign Approach

Steps in our approach to Supply Chain Redesign include the following steps:

  • Conduct a Rapid Assessment of existing supply chain strategy, processes, technology, organization, measures, skills/capabilities, and performance by interviewing key personnel
  • Convene a project team to analyze supply chain processes and opportunities
  • Assess field sales needs, performance, and opportunities in a “Voice of the Field” (VoF) interview process, and incorporate input into potential process designs
  • Facilitate process design discussions with team leaders, team members, and other stakeholders to identify and align potential opportunities, capabilities, inventory levels, distribution locations, technology solutions, and actions that will field capable, efficient business processes
  • Design, pilot, and implement process improvements that gain and sustain positive control of inventory, ordering, and order-to-cash processes
  • Deliver solutions to the leadership team in regular steering meetings, and manage a list of action items that the leadership team agrees to implement
